قصة النبي نوح عليه السلام
A story about perseverance and trusting Allah's plan. Learn how Nuh built an ark when there was no sea around.
Nuh was a messenger sent by Allah to guide his people. He called them for many, many years — some say 950 years. He asked them to worship only Allah and to be kind to one another. But the people would not listen. They mocked Nuh and called him crazy. They pointed at him and laughed. But Nuh never gave up. He kept calling them with patience and love.
After so many years of calling his people, Allah told Nuh something surprising. Allah said, "Build an ark." Nuh was confused. There was no sea nearby. But Allah said, "Build it. My command will be done." And so Nuh began to build. He worked day and night. The people passed by and laughed even harder. They said, "Look at him! He is building a ship in the desert!" But Nuh kept building because he trusted Allah.
Then it happened. The sky opened up and rain began to fall. Not just a little rain — a flood! Water covered the mountains. The earth was flooded with water. Nuh called out to Allah to save the believers. Allah said, "Embark in the ark, in the name of Allah." The ark floated on the water. Nuh put inside the ark the believers, a pair of every animal, and his family who believed.
The rain stopped. The water began to go down. Slowly, the ark landed on Mount Judi. Nuh and the believers stepped out onto dry land. Nuh looked at the earth that had been completely covered in water. Now it was green again. Life was beginning anew. Allah had saved the believers. And Nuh knew that Allah's promise is always true.
Nuh taught us that we should never give up doing the right thing, even when everyone else is against us. We should keep calling people to good and keep trusting in Allah. Allah always keeps His promises.
